Search Module

The Search Module includes three possible fields to define your search:

• a search box, where you can type in a word or words
• Content Type checkboxes. If you leave this blank you'll get both updates and photos. Use this to narrow your search to one or the other.
• Topic checkboxes. You can choose one or more of the topics. The search results will return articles and photos tagged with EITHER or ANY of the topics you choose.

Combining choices from two or three fields will NARROW your search to items that match both criteria. Multiple choices within the Topic List will BROADEN your search

 

Results will be displayed in a list, with content types mixed together, and with the most recent articles on top. For photo articles the title and thumbnail will be displayed. For updates, the introductory text will display. Titles or images are clickable to access the full article. The search results display is a little different from the display of the most recent updates you see when you choose "updates" from the main menu. There, you will see "read more" links at the bottom of the introductory text.

Photo Libraries

This applies to the Photo Library articles and returns a library of images on a particular topic. These categories are NOT combinable with the Search Fields above.
